NA KAA IYO YO CHI NUU CHIKUA’A

This 164-page book, in Coastal Mixtec (also known as Mixtec Pinotepa Nacional), treats daily life in Jicayán, the home village of the author, Josefa Leonarda González Ventura. The Spanish translation is the book VIDA COTIDIANA DE JICAYAN. The paragraphs are numbered in both the Mixtec and Spanish editions, making it easier for students of Mixtec to see how the author translated each segment. In 2015, there were about 518,000 speakers of one or more Mixtec languages in Mexico, including about 30,000 speakers of Coastal Mixtec.
